Online Giving Setup Guide

Online giving makes it easy for members to support your church financially from anywhere.

Setting Up Online Giving:

Step 1: Configure Payment Gateway
1. Go to Settings > Payment Providers
2. Choose your provider (Stripe, PayPal, Flutterwave, Paystack, etc.)
3. Enter your API keys and credentials
4. Test the connection
5. Save

Step 2: Configure Contribution Types
1. Go to Settings > Contribution Types
2. Ensure you have types for online giving (Tithe, Offering, etc.)
3. Set default amounts for quick giving

Step 3: Enable Online Giving
- Online giving is automatically available once a payment gateway is configured
- Members can access it from their portal dashboard

How Members Give:
1. Log in to the member portal
2. Click "Online Giving" or "Give Now"
3. Select contribution type and fund
4. Enter amount
5. Choose payment method (Card, Mobile Money, Bank)
6. Confirm and submit
7. Receive digital receipt

Recurring Giving:
Members can set up recurring donations:
- Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
- Automatic charge on scheduled dates
- Manage or cancel anytime from their profile
