Setting Up Email and SMS Notifications

Stay connected with your congregation through automated email and SMS notifications.

Email Configuration:
1. Go to Settings > Email Configuration
2. Choose your mail driver (SMTP, Mailgun, Postmark, etc.)
3. Enter your SMTP credentials (host, port, username, password)
4. Set the sender name and email address
5. Click "Test Connection" to verify
6. Save settings

SMS Configuration:
1. Go to Settings > SMS Configuration
2. Select your SMS provider
3. Enter your API credentials
4. Set the sender ID
5. Test the connection
6. Save

What Gets Sent Automatically:
- Welcome emails to new members
- Event reminders
- Contribution receipts
- Birthday and anniversary greetings
- Group meeting notifications

You can customize email templates in Settings > Email Templates for a personalized touch.
