Creating Email and SMS Campaigns

The campaigns module lets you communicate with your entire congregation or targeted groups.

Creating a Campaign:
1. Go to Campaigns from the sidebar
2. Click "Create Campaign"
3. Choose channel: Email or SMS
4. Enter campaign name and subject
5. Write your message using the editor
6. Select recipients (All Members, Specific Group, Custom List)
7. Schedule or send immediately
8. Review and confirm

Email Editor Features:
- Rich text formatting
- Insert images and links
- Personalization tags ({{name}}, {{group}}, etc.)
- Preview before sending

Recipient Selection:
- Send to all active members
- Filter by group or department
- Filter by demographic criteria
- Upload custom recipient list
- Exclude specific members

Sending Options:
- Send immediately
- Schedule for later
- Set as draft for later editing
- Save as template for reuse

Best Practices:
- Use clear subject lines
- Personalize messages with member names
- Send SMS for urgent announcements
- Send emails for detailed newsletters
- Test your campaign with a preview first
