Payment Gateway Configuration

Payment gateways enable online giving and subscription payments.

Available Providers:
The system supports multiple payment gateways:
- Stripe (Global)
- PayPal (Global)
- Flutterwave (Africa)
- Paystack (Africa)
- Ebanx (Latin America)
- BBVA (Mexico)

Setting Up a Provider:
1. Go to Settings > Payment Providers
2. Click "Add Provider"
3. Select your provider from the list
4. Enter the required API credentials:
- Public Key / Client ID
- Secret Key / Client Secret
- Webhook Secret (if applicable)
5. Configure webhook URLs (provided after saving)
6. Set the provider as active
7. Test the connection

Webhook Setup:
- Copy the webhook URL provided by the system
- Paste it in your payment provider's dashboard
- This allows automatic payment confirmation

Currency Support:
- Each provider supports specific currencies
- Set your default currency in Settings
- Providers will show available currencies

Switching Providers:
- You can have multiple active providers
- Members can choose their preferred payment method
- Disable old providers after transitioning

Pro Tip: Set up at least two payment providers for redundancy.
