Notifications and Alerts

Notifications keep you informed about important activities in your church.

Types of Notifications:
1. System Notifications — Updates, maintenance notices, subscription alerts
2. Member Activity — New member registrations, profile updates
3. Financial — Large contributions, payment confirmations
4. Follow-Up Reminders — Overdue follow-ups, new assignments
5. Event Notifications — New registrations, event reminders
6. Support Tickets — Ticket updates, replies

Viewing Notifications:
- Click the bell icon in the top navigation bar
- See recent notifications in the dropdown
- Click "View All" to see full notification history
- Notifications are grouped by date

Managing Notification Preferences:
1. Go to Settings > Notifications
2. Choose which notification types you want to receive
3. Set email frequency (Immediately, Daily Digest, Weekly)
4. Configure SMS alerts for urgent notifications
5. Save preferences

Marking Notifications:
- Click individual notification to mark as read
- Use "Mark All as Read" to clear all
- Unread notifications shown with a blue dot
- Notification count badge on the bell icon
